The mission of the Air Pollution Control Division is to develop, design and install efficient systems for treating non-conventional industrial emissions in the most cost-efficient manner possible.

The following processes are offered:

Biotox® Process: Regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and condensable organic compounds (COCs)

VAMOX^TM Process: Regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) of dilute methane emissions released by ventilation systems of underground mines

Clinox® Process: High-temperature particulate filtration using bag filters equipped with special fabrics;

ESP Process: High-flow (100,000 SCFM or more) particulate filtration by electrostatic precipitation.

Biothermica is known for its expertise in the use of regenerative oxidation technology for treating non-conventional and complex emissions emitted by installations in the metallurgy, pulp and paper, asphalt roofing and coal mining industries.
